Description
Pair of Stunningly Beautifully Carved Irish Shamrocks - A shamrock is a type
of clover plant that makes people think of Ireland. Don’t be fooled into
thinking that it’s a lucky four-leaf clover.
A real shamrock only has three leaves — but that doesn’t mean it’s not lucky!
In fact, in Irish folklore (and many other cultures), the number three is
considered very lucky. So a plant with three leaves would have lots of luck —
except for poison ivy which also has three leaves! The three leaves of a
shamrock are said to stand for faith, hope and love.
I have been asked if could make these by quite a few cusomers and i have
finally got round to doing it so here they are. These are made from solid Oak
and come as a matching mirrored pair for mounting on Fireplaces Cupboards
etc...These measure 48mm wide by 50mm tall.
These Shamrock wood carvings are easily mounted with any reputable wood glue,
No More Nails, EvoStick etc
