Antique Large 18th century lock, in nicely cut wrought iron

Superb French locksmith object, this beautiful forged lock is from the early
18th century. The plate, 30cm high, is elegantly hand-cut with a typical Louis
XIV or Regency lambrequins chisel.
Good condition, but the strike is missing.
Height: 30cm Width: 13cm, thickness: 5cm. Weight: 400grams.
Nice patina, good size, interesting lock!
