A nice collectible antique padlock from the Davenport Mallory Co. Smokehouse,
New Haven CT. They were also tied to Mallory, Wheeler Co (c1886-1913). This
antique lock has a beefy iron body with a brass door that covers the lock area.
The door area reads DM & Co. The lock is in good antique condition showing
surface rust but no rot. It measures 3 3/8" in length by 2 5/8" wide across the
"ears" and at widest part of body. It has a 5.8" depth. We do not have the key.

The brass door slides to left to reveal the keyhole. This is a great piece for
the lock or industrial collector. Would also make a nice display piece in your
farmhouse or industrial farmhouse home or business. We have some other
industrial locks it would look great with hung or on a table shelf display.
